The birds are gorgeous...The frog isn't all that pretty, but it has it's own beauty...Are they going extinct?...Thats sad if they are, I don't blame animals for attacking humans. We kill their kind right in front of them. Then they go extinct, frankly I don't think any form of hunting should be legal. I don't think we'd like it if animals hunted us and we had to find a place to hide, then when we get settled down they'd destroy our homes. It's just so wrong!

I read somewhere recently that the reason so many animal species are being found on Paupa New Guinea is because they are cutting down the rain forest, thus exposing all sorts of rare insects, birds and animals.
For every new species "found" by science, at least 50 go extinct around the world, and it's because of human activity.

I in love with the idea of undiscovered species, I sincerely hope there is an animal somewhere that no one has ever seen, and hopefully never will see. An animal which can continue to live it's quiet, unobtrusive and innocent life unobserved. As soon as our shadow falls upon them, they're doomed

Good evening ladies and gentlemen[smile].
According to the latest issue of one of my favorite magazines, "Science Illustrated", in Borneo, scientists have recently discovered another new[and tiny and beautifully colored too, I might add]species of frog. It has been named Microhyla nepenthicola.
It lays it's eggs within Pitcher Plants. How's
that
for a safe environment for a tadpole to grow up in[smile]?
