NEW FORUM FEATURE - YOUTUBE VIDEOS IN POSTS

Hello all,

     I just successfully implimented embedding youtube into the forum posts, which means..
  You can now view youtube videos without leaving the forum.     It's quite simple to do.   

==>   Find the video you wish to share at http://www.youtube.com and copy it's URL  (it's http address up in the address bar)

==>   Create a new forum post or reply.  You will now see a new button above the  that says "Youtube".   Click this.

==>   Now paste your youtube URL in between the "[ youtube ][ /youtube ]" so that it looks something like this:

        [ youtube ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DmQ4XfyX1g[ /youtube ]

If you do that correctly you will see the video in your forum post/reply like this:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DmQ4XfyX1g" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DmQ4XfyX1g</a>

^ That is one of my tomato growing how-to videos BTW and if you'd like,   please rate and comment it!   ....  I know, I know... a shameless plug.  But hey!  It's all about tomatoes right? 

Dont forget, you can always Fullscreen videos and stay in the forum, change their quality (360/480/720/1080) etc etc.  I can assume this will lead to many new threads, music video threads, instruction threads... I'm sure everyone has some videos to share and now it's possible.

You need to simplify, when you post, look in the button list, on the far left you will see a little red and white youtube button.  Click it.  Then plop your URL in between.   Your URL is this ==>  http://www.youtube.com/v/ycHFp9HGdiQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&

If I put that in between the youtube button codes, I get your video:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycHFp9HGdiQ" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycHFp9HGdiQ</a>

or you can post in open or the Music/Video forum.

It's a great feature Sprite, very instructive on how to grow tomatoes.  Looking forwards to seeing more videos from members.  I have one I took of our stream it's not a YouYube can this go on the same way?  I have used photobucket but I do not know if it does videos.
