Smiley I understand you had a bit of a connection with this girl, but she needed to be put to rest ghosts shouldn't wander the earth for long amounts of time. After a while these spirits will begin to forget who they were, she already forgot her name. If ghosts are left lingering they can become what's called lost souls it is a concept that basically means they have forgotten what their purpose was and are left to wander aimlessly; some become negative beings causing trouble. It's a good thing that she is at rest. You should be happy for her.

I understand this is hard for you, but she is in a better place now. She may have been in denial that she needed to move on, but you helped her. As Lupus said, she could have become dangerous over the long term. I suggest, as a way to help you feel better, that you hold a little good-bye ceremony. Even if it just you. It would help you to find closure as well. Smiley

We cry when someone we care about dies. In your case you cry because she will be borne.  Either way we lose someone we care about.  The pain of loosing her will never go away but you will in time live with it better.

She came because it was her time.
She left because things follow along.
