Has anyone read "Blue is for Nightmares" or any of the color books by Laurie Stolarz? I just ordered this from my bookswap and was wondering what others thought about it. It is a fiction series of teens/young adults and witchcraft. I've read good and bad things about it but was wanting the chance to let my mind decompress with the fictional witchcraft for a change. I really enjoyed the SWEEP series by Cate Tiernan when I read it back in middle/high school and was hoping it was similar.

You shoudl read Cate's new immortal series it's just as riveting as the sweep series. And as for Blue is for nightmares that series is...ok, but it definitely has a very one sided view on witchcraft which bothered me at times while reading it.

I'm getting the Immortal series soon except my dad told me not too that I have to wait for x-mas lol. Looking forward to it. I just like witchy books with good plots that I don't have to concentrate to hard on and have suspense. Thanks for the info.

I've read a few of the color books, they got boring after awhile. same story line for all the books I've read. horrible dream, a mystery to solve, and a lot of talking about her grandmother.

I actually really liked the Colored books. I think I read the first in the Sweep series but there are so many of them I couldn't afford to buy them all.
