Hello, AidenWolf. I don't mean to barge in on the conversation, but I have a good bit of experience with what you are going through. I was a practicing witch in my family home for five years before I got out on my own and my parents to start with were not very happy about it. For the most part I just kept quiet about it, hiding anything related to the craft away until everyone was asleep. Did a lot of practicing outside, and in the middle of winter that is no fun. But since I left home, my mom has opened up a lot. She is very Christian and while I lived with her did the whole "if I don't see it, it doesn't exist" thing. Kinda funny actually. My dad took a very different approach by saying "my house my rules" or "there's the door. don't let is hit out on the way out" whenever I mentioned the craft in any vague way. But with time, and the occasional mention that got more frequent as time went by, they came to accept who I am and both now defend me. I don't have any real good advice on the subject, but I wanted to let you know that there are others who have been there and are there now. It gets easier and much better with time. And some times, time is all we have in life. I hope things will become better for you in time.
Kaleesie, talking to a tree does not sound funny at all to me. I moved from my family home in the middle of the country to an apartment in the middle of a city (so I could go to school at a university, not because I actually want to live in a city) and if it wasn't for the oak growing in what passes as a backyard here, I think I would go insane. There is also I nice birch on campus I visit often. I consider it one of few friends here.
Well, blessed be, friends.
