The veil is thin

Last night I was meditating on the days events and suddenly the temperature dropped from 62 to near 40 at my location. I sensed I was not alone and began to notice my breath visually. I remember this time last year I was able to get a peek through to another plane. The veil is no doubt thinner at this time.

I'm sure most of you have noticed that the veil has been thinning for many years now, there are those who have tried to strengthen it without much success. It is inevitable, the veil will fall. It us up to us as individuals to be ready when it does. I am sure that there are some among you who for a few years now, and much stronger has the feeling been lately, that something is coming, or the feeling like you have things to do but are unsure of what it is, something deep inside you calls to you to prepare, but yet know why. Well, there is your answer. The veil is thinning and will soon be no more.

This sounds oddly like a movie or show I've watched...Do you have any proof of this occurrence? The veil is controlled by the Goddess and God from my understanding and I don't think they would let such catastrophe befall us. I'm a pretty strong empath and have a good sense of things and this occurrence you speak of isn't one of them...The only time the veil is truly thin is on Samhain.

The veil is not controlled by the Goddess or God, the veil was put in place by us (meaning human mages/witches) long ago as a way of bringing order to a world of chaos. If the veil was of Godly origins, we would not be able to cross it so simply. As far as proof of the thinning of the veil, need only look over the forum posts over the past 5 years to see how much more frequent are visitations from "shadow people" Demons, Fae, spirits and other beings from across the divide. Also the strength they seem to posses as of late. The veil should be keeping them from crossing over, communicating, and even more so physically affecting and manifesting on our realm.

We are a little more accepted in society. And we have forums like this one for witches/Wiccans/etc. all over the world to tell people about their experiences.

I agree. Mystics and mediums have always been able to "traverse the veil". To think that this is only a recent development is a bit foolhardy.

I guess the reason I don't notice how thin it is is because for me being visited by those from the other side is kind of normal for me. And the explination of the withces and mages that makes a lot of sense My only problem with it is it's a theory with no physical proof. I'm a if I can't feel it, sense it, hear it or see it; it just doesn't make sense kind of person.

The veil in its self can not be seen sensed felt tasted or heard. as far as mediums go, not all beings from across the veil should be seen, much less have multiple visits and experiences. Mediums are here to help guide the deceased who remain that have unfinished business. The very fact that you can see communicate and interact with shadow people, demons. fae. and other beings is a should be your "see, sense, feel, taste, heard" fact that you are looking for.

I came on here after a long break to say the same thing.

 I've seen some very weird thins during deep meditation, much of sounds very much like the original poster. What do you think this could mean for people like us ? and people who aren't like us ?

 Very foreboding, even my spirit guide has warned me.

Ah that's silly because there are people who can sense the veil. I can definitely sense it on samhain, but any other time not even an inkling of a feeling.

I sense the veil all the time. There have been things around me since I was 3... Or maybe even before, but I can only remember that age and seeing shadows and cold spots and the feeling my mom was going to pull out a gun, only to walk in her room, with my step dad shielding me and my sister to see my mom with a rifle in her hand threatening to shoot, and all these weird things dancing around her that no one else could see.
That, IMO, doesn't mean it's getting thinner.it just means some of us are more in tuned, or are getting more in tuned with the other side.
Have you considered this?
