The veil is thin

I get the gist of this thread, but I find it hard to understand. From my understanding of what I've read on this thread is that the veil between the astral plains and our world is thinning. It'd be considered normal if autumn was nearing, but seeing how it's actually getting further away at this point, it's an odd happening.


I do believe that the Mayans were on to something with their calendar, of which is unknown to us. It could be the death of man, or us coming forth into a new era that would transform the world forever with no questions asked. But then, under some thought, it could be this. It would be catastrophic, there's no doubt about that, but I doubt it'd be the end of life as we know it. Eventually I think that we'd all learn to coexist, and then things would be smoothed out again. The transition to getting used to this would be rough, being that we'd be dealing with beings that we're uncertain of, but eventually, something would come of it. Including that this transition doesn't kill us all.


But that's my view on it, and I know that others might find me wrong

No its not a punishment land its more like a way for spirits to finish or choose if they want to cross to the otherside completely, I'm not entirely sure but I think those who don't go to the otherside completely have to possibility or chance to get rencarneted to finish finish the actions and Karma or what ever left over from there death, and I worded that poorly I wasn't connecting that to shaminishm it was just a random thing, I apologize my thoughts are extrememly dissorganized and I don't exactly believe what I wrote it was more or less objective I believe differently than I posted but I did think it was interesting, I got parts of it from one of my friends who claimed to be heading towards High Priestess statis about a year ago, and she wanted to open the viel so that anything could go as it pleased, the information I know about Shaminism is very low in detail and greatly bias I have actually been trying to do more research from objective sources, people that aren't related or bias that may just be placing the title on something entirely different but I haven't come across much that I can build on or verify

Alania, lol, I have to say, your thought process throws me off a little. But I think I get what you were tring to explain in the last post(after reading it 3 times, lol)
You posted something that really bothered me though. You mentioned your friend "headed toward HP" wanted to open the veil so just anything could come and go as it/he/she/they, etc..pleased.
I think that is a very scary thought, and don't want to disrespect your friend, but anyone with that kind of thought process to be put in a position of authority scares the hell outta  me.

And what a lot of people on this site call Summerland.. Seems to be what your referring to. Please correct me if I'm wrong.. I'm trying to see your point of view..not undermind it, just observe and comment occasionally.

Summerland was basically what I was talking about its what I personally belive but I try to make posts like this as general as possible so that no one reading it can get annoyed with it, if that makes sense.  "Claimed" as in past tense, Shes not my friend anymore I didn't like what she was doing she was so far from the Rede that it disturbed me, she was doing spells that were malicious in manner and I could not condone what she was doing, she ended up moving away and I have no idea where or what she is doing now. I apologize for the confusion my thought process can cause, my brain makes leaps and fails to make each connection so it can make sense to me but ens up jumbled and confused to others. Good thing though is that I can always elaborate where needed

When you say HP ( High Preistest ) are you referring to the Wiccan religion..( your ex friend)
Because it sounds to me that she was more of a witch than a Wiccan.. That's just my take. ( and not a nice witch.. Was she young?) sounds like someone who acts before she thinks..
Anywho, back on topic.

( you know how I feel) so if someone can give me a different reason other than what's been talked about already, feel free to post it.

No she wasn't just a witch, I know many witches who are witches but not wiccan, she was following a path she called wiccan but it was something entirely different and quite disturbing, spells she did were entirely different than any witch I had known she used blood, dead animals, stuff like that in a lot of them, it was very creepy. And she was a few years older than me i think she would be 19 now

im not sure about the viel thinning but i know i have always been able to see past it. however its been getting easier for me to see past it and ive been noticing a lot of anger and fear in the wind lately. im not sure what this means but im worried about it.

If what you guys and gals mean by the veil being that you can see ghosts and shadows I'd say its definitely becoming more active these days. Within the last few weeks, today especially, I have been catching small glimpses of things and then they are gone. Certainly it is an exciting time, we have two small children that have chosen to not depart the house we live in. Which is more than fine, they are playful and i adore them, opening doors, shutting off tvs, its always a good time.

Yeah, yesterday I saw a lot also. I also had a ton of experiences this previous Saturday,  but none on Sunday. A few things at the corner of my eye. Things placing their hand on the doorknob, and then nothing. People walking around. None threatening, all departed. There has been a spike in the paranormal, I know that.

all of this worries me. true so far unthreatening things have been coming through but there are some very frightening things out there and it cant be long before they start rearing thier ugly heads. does anyone else feel the same or am i just being paranoid?

thats exactly what i mean. my friend has experienced some of this. she has had a little past trouble with hell hounds but they left her alone after awhile but know she told me about how her 5 year old niece has been having the exact same nightmare about them that she had as a child and she has never mentioned anything spiritual in front of her much less the dreams she had

The paranormal activity has spiked the last couple of days I had a very odd experience last night when I went to bed kind of spooked me at first, thought someone had broken in XD It was this shadow figure just standing at the end of my bed he stood very still and we both seemed to size eachother up. I finally said good evening and kid you not this ghost did that super old fashioned gallant bow almost seeming to bid me adieu. (On a side note always wanted to say bid adieu in a sentence XD) Then he just kind of went poof well not really poof more like he was fog and it was slowly dissipating. Now I really want to go to one of the old churches in Boston that they've turned into little museums and see what kind of activity is going on there.

I hope you all can take into account that seeing /hearing/ect.. Has been happening for as long as ghost stories have been told.
BUT NOW we have the Internet, call phones, all this technology to tell people about it.
Before, mediums, witches, eyc.. Were burned at the stake for saying they saw things like this, and up until very recently (and sometimes even today) people are put in psych wards because they say they saw something.

Seeing these things aren't new. Technology is just better at getting the whole world to see 1 picture or video. Or writ down story. Within seconds from Africa to Ireland.
