All of us who are in the broom closet feel that way Joe it just comes with being Wiccan unfortunately. There will always be people to discriminate and judge, but remember there are others like us out there struggling to make things work. Even though you haven't met any of us we can still be your family of sorts lol awkward thing to say I know XD Even though I have only been on here a short time I have come to think of everyone on here as family kind of like siblings or aunts and uncles in a way Smiley Just know that we are here to listen and to help. Good luck and blessed be.

That is an interesting idea, but I wouldn't do that until I'm financially independent from my parents. In the mean time, all I do is just smile and nod and "play the part" so to speak. It just hurts knowing that if they knew the truth about what I really feel, and how Wicca makes me feel so alive and so connected, then they would think differently of me or not accept me.

Yea, financial independence does make a big difference. It's been so long for me (I'm 44) that it hadn't even occurred to me that might be an issue as well.

THis was awesome, and so true. I never thought about it in the way that all of us who are of a Pagan faith usually go through it. And also, the last part about family... that's awesome, and true. K+, Lu. Smiley

I left Christianity because of my bi-sexuality. I just didn't feel comfortable in a religion where the doctrine and people damned me for my nature. Best advice I can give is do what feels right.
