This one I consider my crest. My concept put to by the very talented Sonia Tice. Great artist and dear friend.

You've got a lot of nice ink! I like the traditional style of that Medusa, but I also like the fact that it's not all traditional. An homage to traditional is essential to anyone wanting to be all tatted up (IMO), but I really like the more original stuff myself. Seems you have some nice stuff. The traditional Japanese sleeve is cool too! My sleeve isn't so filled in, but it's somewhat traditional Japanese with a coi transforming into a dragon. Cool tats! Thanks for sharing!

The Medusa is one of my favorites, it is a water color painting/flash from one of my favorite artists named Dave fox. Dave also happens to tattoo, but his paintings have a great twist and flare to traditional works. You should check out his book on Japanese Demon mythology. has a lot of cool paintings along with the stories of the demons. In fact, 5 of my tattoos are Dave fox painting, all my ink except for one, the missing pic, are done by Sonia Tice. The sleeve and chest pieces are her original drawings. I'll update my chest and left sleeve soon, will be finishing my chest this week hopefully.

We'll let it go as it's a lot of pictures, but this technically is double posting and against our forum rules.   Five posts for nine pictures is unnecessary.  *READ THE RULES* and follow them as you agreed to upon registration please.  Don't let it happen again or you will be formally warned.

very nice work!  I've only got one small tattoo- the goddess symbol )O(
I think I would like to get a dragon somewhere- I've always loved dragons, but I've never found a picture of one that I would like to have permanently inked onto my skin.  Tongue

The Medusa is my fav too.
I am wanting an entire sleeve, also. However, I wasn't something very original.. And colorful. I
I actually want it to go all the way down to my fingertips, ( but have that look like Henna but with a twist. )..eh, too hard to explain. And usually anything around your joints usually fades fast. ( ugh!)

But they are pretty cool.

I'm getting a dragon that pretty much counts as a sleeve Smiley I also love the Medusa. When you said some of your ink i thought you meant like a couple of tatts HOLY MOLY! I would give anything to have great tattoos like that!

If you think thats a lot of ink, just wait. still need to finish both sides of my chest, both torso sides from under arms to hips, my back, starting at the base of my neck, to just bellow my @$$, and my legs, starting at 4inches above the knees, down to my ankles. oh, and still have yet to finish my palms and fingers. I have around 42 hrs of needle work so far, and still looking at about another 380 hrs before I'm done.

That is a lot of ink, but I'm in the same boat. The expense is my biggest stumbling block, but one day I hope to be covered too. I tend to go with more smaller pieces generally though. I have some that took several sittings, but I like the idea of smaller ones taking less space so I can have a wider variety of art on my body. I suspect there may be more big ones in my future though. Smiley
