For magical purposes a full moon is considered to last three consecutive nights, the night of the actual point of maximum illumination (in this case, Tuesday at 4:56 PM EST) and the night on either side of it.  You can therefore perform the ritual at any point the moon is visible between nightfall on Monday and dawn, Thursday morning.

That said, I have to ask:  Why are you Calling Down the Moon anyway?  That's usually the function of the High Priestess, to serve as the vessel of the Great Goddess.  If you're a man, you should be Calling Down the Sun.  Anyway, neither ceremony is dependent on the time of day or phase of the moon.

It might help to tell us what you mean by calling down the Moon. To traditionals it has a very definite meaning and would not be performed by someone starting out.  Cross sexual draw-downs are possible but you risk scrambling your mind.

It was a suggesttion by a priestess I know I've got a post in new members about a near death ezperience I had and she told me that most if not all goddesses are connected with the moon and that it would be a good way to get in contact with the goddess that appeared before me. Without nessisarily knowing her entire identity maybe calling down the moon is the wrong term but she said what I was doing was close to summoning but more like politly requesting her presence

I've also read you can use as much leeway as 3 days before the actual day and 3 days after. And I personally have never had any problems when working under that construct.

So a ceremony to request the presence of a previously encountered goddess, that makes sense.  Just don't call it "Drawing Down the Moon."  That phrase has a very specific meaning in Wicca.  It's when the Goddess takes possession of the body of the High Priestess in order to speak to the coven.  It's similar to when a Loa "rides" a ritualist in Vodou.

Don't worry too much.  We do not have a standardized language and probably wont for another hundred years.
