Tarot problem?

Ok so about couple weeks ago I bought a nice deck slighty used but this deck worked beautiful. I used different spreads with an online guide and each card matches with what it was going to tell me about my question. I put it in my pillow case had beautiful dreams. Last week I didn't use it when I was at my Grandmas. Was at the greyhound bus stop, some missionary (i think he was) wanted to see them. I figured what the heck I heard letting people see my cards isn't a bad thing. I got home did a reading, it was innacurate, did another reading the cards drawn didn't even match with order. Ex: first card drawn didn't even match with my present beliefs as it should've. Then put them in my pillowcase went to sleep and I can't remember my dream but I woke up tired and depressed. Tonight I did readings same thing. Ummm does this mean they need cleansed does anyone know whats wrong. Gonna put them in my pillow again tonite hope for the best. Blessed Be

When in doubt, cleanse them.

I would cleanse them as well.  I can't imagine a cleansing making it any worse.

Ditto, ditto,   cleanse them.  Maybe even consecrate them for your use. Think about who you want to touch your cards? and keep the others away.

There are parts of my anatomy that most anybody can touch.
Then there are other parts that are reserved for special people.

Cleanse them and sleep with them under your pillow for a while. Handel them as much as you possibly can.

Thanks so much, cleansing them is going to be the hard part, I can't clease them where I live cause sage leaves a smell. I heard about leaving them in a windowsill for 24 hours so I'm going to try that. anyway thanks so much for responses Blessed be

Why don't you give this a shot, in case the cleansing doesn't work. First, set up a circle much as you would for any other common ritual practice you might hold for yourself. Don't need to use anything you would consider out of the ordinary for it. Even just a few simple candles would be more than enough for it. Sit down within your circle, in the most comfortable position you can manage while holding the cards between your hands, the deck flat. One hand on top, one hand on the bottom. Meditate about the problem, while feeling for what you identify as your source of energy. Without letting that go, begin to shuffle the deck and recite to yourself about dreams you had with them in the past while thinking of how the cards felt to you before the deck came in contact with the missionary. Shuffle again between dreams, and do this several times. Afterward, sleep with the cards as you normally would, making sure to recall the dreams while falling asleep. Do not do a reading with them again until all steps are complete, once you have begun.

Before everybody used sage we used earth (salt)  air (breath)   fire (candle)  and water. Some of us still do. Being the old fart that I am,  I trust the elements more than sage.

My Tarot Cards have acted more strangely. Every night I put them in my pillowcase, last couple nights they manage to fall out, but I put them at the end of my pillowcase, worst is my 9 yr old cousin found them twice when they fell out. This morning on the otherside of the room he held them and said is this what your looking for (he knows I dont want him seeing them and I have not told him what they are). Got me so angry if they fell out what are you doing with them on the other side of the room, hands off my stuff.but back to the Tarot I,share a room with a nine year old. In a week when I move back to my grandmas I need to cleanse them. But it feels like my cards are rejecting me

The question then is are you rejecting them? or they rejecting you?

If you reject them then it is just that,  that deck gives your subconscious indigestion.

If they reject you then it is that your subconscious does not want you doing readings. Probably because it is getting in the way of something more important that you should be / need to be doing.

I'lll admit I love the deck but am unhappy with the image style the images just don't connect to me (its asian like images). There was n old deck when I was younger I connected with the images well. Maybe deep down I am unhappy with the style of this deck and that could be the problem. But then again they worked well my first week of using them

The conscious mind works fairly fast as long as you are awake. The subconscious is much slower but works 24 / 7.  So... lag time might be the answer.
