Okay, I realize there are more important issues here, but I'm looking for anything to help with balding. Tinctures, herbs, spells, anything. If someone could lend a helping hand, I would love them for it!

I admit I haven't really tried to prevent my balding, but what I've found works best for me is just wearing my hair cropped very close. People can still see I'm balding, of course, but it's not as noticeable as trying to keep it longer (or even worse, doing a comb-over). And if it's a matter of having much more forehead than before (as in my case) try not to have pics taken from above you. It really makes the bigger forehead stand out! LOL Fortunately I'm 6 ft. tall, so not too many people are able to just look down on me and see it from that perspective.

Well, I'm 6'4", so nobody really ever sees the top of my head. But I desperately want some hair. Right now I've got the goatee, shaved head thing going on.

Yea, that's what I've got going on too. It's quite a change from what it looked like this time in 2001:

That's OK, Kaleesie. LOL Some guys do like it. Others not so much. I'm more into the type of guy who does though. Wink

Good afternoon[smile].
Unless I am wrong, baldness in men is almost always caused by an increased amount of testosterone in the body,  so you could take it as a compliment from Mother Nature that you just SO darned manly these days[toothy grin]. Why the obsession with head hair, anyway?

THAT'S IT! I had gastric bypass surgery! I lost 125 pounds in the last 9 months, mostly from the belly area, which means my estrogen levels have gone down and my testosterone has gone up. That explains why I'm horny all the time now and it explains the hair loss, and the getting mad easier. Sunuvabitch! LOL

Holy Hairball Thunderwolf!  That's quite a head of hair you had  Cheesy  Is your hair naturally that curly or was that a perm?

And, speaking from a women's POV, I also think that the shaved head thing is light year's more sexy than the dreaded comb-over  Wink

Agreed

Bypass does this? Wow, didn't know.
My brother had bypass, but, sadly, he ate his way back up to his original weight...

......

Anyways. Talk to your doc, see what is safe for you to consume!

LOL That was April 2001 just before having it cut and donated to Locks of Love. I had some major surgery coming up in May 2001 and wasn't going to be able to take care of it so had it cut short. I never grew it out after that, and with such a high forehead I would never dream of growing the rest of it out like that now.

WOW TW!  That's a lotta hair.

And, yes, the shaved + goatee look is totally sexy.  A million times better than a comb-over.

Ferox, I did not know that about testosterone.  That totally explains some things... Learn something new everyday!
