This is a self calming spell to prepare for intense meditation. It is not of my making, the spell maker wishes to remain anonymous but does not mind sharing.

The reagents are: a clay bowl filled with water and a lit white candle floating on it. (she has her candle sit in a little wooden dish on top of the water.)

The incantation that she uses is:
Cleanse me of anger
Cleanse me of stress
Cleanse me of worry
Let my soul rest
(she repeats this seven times.)

She claims it works for her even when her day or week or what have you has been so terrible that it distracts her from being able to meditate.

Personally, I use the most magical means for my pre-meditation warm-up. Music Smiley

Courage Spell

When: On a Tuesday, during the waxing or full moon.

You will need:
  • red candle and holder
  • dragon's blood incense or other Fire incense
  • red bloodstone
  • red pouch (preferably made by you)

Dress comfortably.  Cast your circle according to your Tradition.  Light the incense, then the red candle.  Concentrate on the candle, visualizing the power of Fire flowing from the candle into you, filling you and giving you strength and courage.  Chant:

Scarlet candle, fire bright,
Give me the courage to do what's right.

Pick up the bloodstone.  Pass it through the smoke from the incense, charging the stone with the power of Fire.  As you do so, chant:

I charge this stone to be a token
Of courage too strong to be broken.

Place the stone in the red pouch and hold the pouch up before the red candle, visualizing the energy wrapping around and through the pouch and its contents.  Chant:

I bind this spell round three times three;
As I will it, so mote it be.

Carry the charm bag with you for an extra boost of courage under nerve-wracking circumstances.

I guess I could part with a spell or two and still be feared as a mighty which with them ablity to turn milk sour.

Pocket Change Prosperity

You will need: About 35 cents in nickels and dimes

Gather your change. Blow on them, infusing them with good intentions and energy.
Stand in front of a doorway or threshold.
Drop your change one by one as you chant:

Nickels and Dimes
Nickels and Dimes
Bring me prosperity
So it will be mine

Throw the last peice of change over your shoulder.
Everytime you walk throught the threshold you will be blessed.

From the Soul Witch Salmuan. Who is me if you get confused.

Consencrating the Magic Sword (Acts as an Athema but more swordy)

You will need: Someplace outdoors were you won't be seen.
A balefire
Nightfall under a full moon.

Get the fire started using your prefered wood element. Use dead wood as to not harm our fellow trees.
Oak (Earth)
Ash (Air)
Willow (Water)
Apple (Fire)
To name a few.

Have your sword ready.
As you speak this chant, upon the word Thrust, you will thrust your blade into the fire, envisioning the negetivity burning out of the blade and the essence of fire soaking into it.
Look to the moon as you do this and be aware for any symbolic meaning from the flames actions.

"I Thrust this blade into the Flame
Asking for the Spark of Life itself
To be granted unto it
I Will take Responsibility for my Actions
And Know that no Bane shall ever be wrought
By this Tool of Life
So Mote It Be!"

Also by the Soul Witch Salmuan (who is also me).

Lies are just creative Truth

"Destruction is far simpler than creation, than sustanance, than deliverance; it takes but one to deystroy a world. But deliverance of that world is not a task for one alone. A world whose fate rests in the hands of one is a world far too simple to be worth saving"~ Excerpt from the book Prophecy, by Elizebeth Hadon

I have been thinking on whether or not to submit some of my workings, and figure this might be something most should be able to benefit from. If you or someone you know makes tattoo ink and tattoos, what better than a tattoos of protection. when making the ink invoke the god/goddess of your choice and have them empower you so that you may imbue the ink with the energy and ability to protect whom the ink goes into. once you have charged the ink, next comes the tattoo itself. while the tattoo is getting done, you channel your energy into it using the blood from the needle mixing with the ink as a type of bond/sacrifice to said god/goddess. the more energy you put into it the better the protection. these tattoos can be a life saver. best of all, no need to worry about someone "praying for your soul" again, or being hit by a stray bullet. or one directed at you for that matter. I have a lot of ink in me. and for each tattoo I get, my tattooist allows me to do my workings.
