Ok I use to play this game with my father ALL the time.
The object is, you provide the lyrics and the next person leaves the answer then posts their own lyrics as well for the next person to guess.
Now I know this is the internet lol, but I'm hoping you all will resist using google to get all the answers!
Makes it more fun that way!
Standin on your mama's porch
You told me that you'd wait forever
Oh and when you held my hand
I knew that it was now or never
Those were the best days of my life
name that tune!!

and here's mine--
"Here he comes, squeeze play, it's gonna be close,
here's the throw, there's the play at plate,
holy cow, I think he's gonna make it!
Stop right there!"

Meat Loaf - Paradise by the Dashboard light.
Here's another:
" I believe, them bones are me. Some say, we're born into the grave.
I feel so alone - gonna end up a big old pile of them bones..."

"Them Bones" by Alice in Chains.
Here we go:
"It's the honesty of these worlds
Ruled by magic and mighty swords
That makes my soul long for the past.."

Bon Jovi - Livin' on A Prayer.
ok, my turn...
Bombarded by brutal events
Like the rays of a sun
Knocked to my knees
By the waves that continued to come
Each time I rise to my feet
I am knocked to the ground
But I am an element
Nothing can break me down

Switchfoot ----------learning to Breathe
Chorus:
Well I don't know
I don't know
I don't know why
I believe, I believe
I believe in the truth
From inside
Go away, go away
Go away from me
Leave me alone
Ignorance spreads lies

Drift and Die...By Puddle of mud
In their masters chambers,
They gather for their feast.
They stab it with their steely knives,
but they just cant kill the beast.

Hotel California----------Eagles
In the brightest hour of my darkest day
I realized what is wrong with me
Can't get over you
Can't get through to you
It's been a helter skelter
Romance from the start
Take these memories
that are haunting me

The river that goes out to the sea
The wind is full of a thousand voices
They pass by the bridge and me

Close, but you didn't name who sings that song.
"Naked" is the song name
"Failure" is the CD
but who's the Band?

"Night falls, I fall
And where were you?
And where were you?
Warm skin, wolf grin
And where were you?
I fell into the moon
and it covered you in blue
I fell into the moon
Can I make it right?
Can I spend the night?"
