     It has come to my attention that we have had people attacking karma for no good reason while I was gone.  I want all to know this situation is now remedied, and ANYONE ABUSING THE KARMA SYSTEM will be banned from this forum.  No-gooders, don't believe me?  Give a try. Wink

Why is there an option (in my profile section) to see who’s given me Karma or who took it away (and who I gave and took from) but I can’t use it?

That and have you noticed that when we give Karma now, we have to elaborate - write why are we changing Karma status of that person.

Try it now, if you click bless/curse you have an option to get back or write a reason. This was funny to me, if you click bless it's Karma change (Applaud): reason, but if you click curse it's Karma change (Smite): reason lol

I think the new way of giving Karma is way cool. Now atleast the mods can keep track of it. And if you get one you dont know where it came from or if your missing one you can ask the mods who did it. Well atleast i think you can lol. Sprite you gonna let us know right lol. K+ to you Sprite for the great improvement.

We have everyone on the honor system, giving Karma more than once in a 24 hour period is forbidden.  Please note, if you give a user karma, and you give others karma within the same 24 hour period, only the first one will be allowed, we strip any karma given following the first one in a 24 hour period.

Example:

Billy gives Suzie K+ at 6am
Billy gives Johnny K+ at 9pm
Billy gives Casey K- at 5am the following morning
Billy gives Chrissy K+ at 7am the following morning

Johnny's K+ and Casey's K- will be removed since they were givin within 24 hours of the first.

Hope this makes sense.

Basically, you can only bless one person every 24 hours. If you try blessing someone else before that time is up, it won't count. Smiley Sounds harsh, but it's to avoid abuse of the system. Tongue
